The Indefinite Quantities Contract is a unit pricing renovation contract for projects such as the installation of new equipment, ductwork, plumbing fixtures and piping. All types of HVAC equipment are provided from Computer Room Units to DDC control systems for individual buildings. We have accomplished design/build tenant renovations where we performed heat/load calculations and then modified existing systems to accommodate the new tenant specifications.
Revis Engineering, Inc. provides preventative maintenance service for ten buildings in Rockville and Gaithersburg for the Food and Drug Administration. We perform routine maintenance and repairs for the equipment accepted under our service contract, as well as replacing/overhauling equipment as needed. During the initial phase of the contract, Revis Engineering inspected and tested each piece of equipment for proper operation. In many cases, we have been able to improve their performance and efficiency.

REVIS furnished and installed the HVAC controls and gas-fired unit heaters for the plant. We also installed the owner-supplied PRVs and HVAC equipment for the complex. The project was completed on time and REVIS was asked to return to perform some warranty service for Raytheon later on that year. REVIS installed sound attenuation units in the main high-pressure and intermediate pressure start-up vents. We were also responsible for insulating the vent stacks and associated piping.
